Updating User Permissions

ASecurity user's security settingspermissions allow user'susers access to view certain user's ofonly the samehospital/unit security.they are assigned. For example, if you are a preceptor, you can only see user's in the same hospital/unit as you are.you.

To add or remove security groupspermissions to a user's account:

1. Click on Menu link in the top navigation
2. Click on People
3. Locate the person that you want to assign a profile item to. If you don’t find the user you are looking for, you can search keyword for name or email. You can also search by hospital or group.
4. Once you locate the user, click on the user's Details button
5. Click on the Security link under the user's name.
6. Click Add Permission button
7. Select the desired hospital/unit combination by selecting the checkboxes on screen.
8. Click Save Unit Access button when complete.
9. The security groups will be added to the user's account.
