Approving Readiness to Practice Indicators

BenchmarksRPIs must be approved by a Preceptor or Nurse Leader before benchmarksRPIs are marked 100% complete.
To approve a Preceptee's Benchmarks:RPIs:

1. Access a Preceptee's status page
2. In the BenchmarkRPI Validation Status section, click on the In Progress link above the progress bar.
3. If all benchmark'sRPIs are validated, a Finalize button will appear at the bottom of the screen.
4. Click the Finalize button

   

   
5. A confirmation popup will appear. If ready to finalize, click the Finalize button

6. Once the finalize button is clicked, a completion date is marked for validation. This date will mark the end of benchmark'sRPIs for the specific user. This step is irreversible
