Viewing a User's Status

A Preceptor or Nurse Leader can view a Preceptee's status from either from the My Dashboard page or via the People section located in the main Menu.

To access a user's status via People menu:

1. Log in to Engage
2. From any page, click on Menu in the top navigation
3. Click on People menu item
4. Using the Quick Search, you can type in keywords of the user's first name, last name or email to search. You can also filter data by Hospital, Status, Unit and Account Status (Active/Inactive). To use the search filters, click on the down arrow next to quick search.
5. If you would like to view the user's status, click on the user's name and then click the status link under their name.

To access a user's status via My Dashboard:

1. Log in to Engage
2. The first page you will see after you log in will by the My Dashboard page. If you are directed to the Nurse Leader dashboard, click on the Preceptor Dashboard button to toggle your dashboard.
3. Your Preceptees will appear on their own card.
4. To you view your Preceptees status, click on the View Status link located next to their name
